Scientist: "C" : [04 Posts]
Age Limit : Not exceeding 40 years as on 30/11/2010
Pay Scale : Rs. 15600-39100/- + Grade pay: Rs. 6600/- plus admissible allowances
Qualification : Ph.D. in any area of the Earth Sciences with first class at Preceding degree, preferably in Glaciology with four years post doctoral experience in the field of Glaciology with good academic record & publications in reputed journals.
Scientist: "B" : [04 Posts]
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years as on 30/11/2010
Qualification : 1st Class M.Sc./M.Tech /M. Phil in Geology/Earth Sciences /Hydrology /Meteorology /Physics/ Chemistry or other allied subjects
Pay Scale : Rs. 15600-39100/- + Grade pay: Rs. 5400/- plus admissible allowances
Stenographer Grade-II : [01 Post]
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years as on 30/11/2010
Pay Scale : Rs. 9,300-34800 , Grade Pay `Rs. 4200/- plus admissible allowances
