NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY RAIPUR invited from Indian Nationals for the following positions in the following pay scale for the Bioinformatics programme/project period only.

Job Openings Details:

1. Information Officer – 1 Post Pay Scale 8000-275-13500
   Qualification : Minimum First Class Master Degree in Biotechnology /Life Sciences/Basic Sciences/Physical Sciences with one year Post Graduate Diploma in Bioinformatics/Computer Science OR First class Master's Degree in Bioinformatics /Computer Science/Information Technology.
   Desirable Experience: At least two year experience in the field of Bioinformatics OR Two years experience in computer related activities, experience in development of software's, database management systems, access of bibliographic information through online and CD ROM based databases .
2. Technical Assistant – 1 Post Pay Scale 5500-175-9000
   Qualification: F irst Class Bachelor's Degree in Bioinformatics/Physics/Electronics/Computer Science OR BCA Desirable Experience: At least two years experience of Computer programming and familiarity with computer operations and maintenance OR At least two year working experience in the field of bioinformatics. (Candidates with higher qualification will be given preference.)
3. Data Entry Operator – 1 Post Pay Scale 4000-100-6000
   Essential Qualification: First Class Bachelor's Degree in Science/Computer Science/Computer application. (Candidates with higher qualifications will be given preference.)
4. Traineeship – 1 Post Pay Scale 5000(consolidated)
   Qualification : First Class Bachelor's Degree in Science/Bioinformatics OR B.E./B.Tech in Biotechnology/Biomedical/Engineering & Technology.Candidates applying for more than one post are required to send separate application for each post. The institute reserves the right to fill-up or not to fill-up any post(s).
   Desirable : Ph.D. Degree in Bioinformatics/Biotechnology/Microbiology/Computer Science/ Information Technology.

Age Limit:
35 years Relaxation in age is applicable to candidates belonging to OBC/SC/ST (as per Government Norms).The age will be reckoned as on 30/09/2009.
