IIT Hyderabad invited applications for faculty positions

Professor
Pay Scale : PB-4 (Rs.37,400-67,000) with AGP of Rs. 10,500/- p.m.
Qualification : Ph.D with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record and a minimum of ten years experience of which at least four years should be at the level of Associate Professor in IITs, IISc Bangalore, IIMs, NITIE Mumbai and IISERs or at an equivalent level in any such other Indian or foreign institution/institutions of comparable standards as may be so decided by the Institute.
Associate Professor,
Pay Scale : PB-4 (Rs.37,400-67,000) with AGP of Rs. 9,500/- p.m.
Qualification : Ph.D with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of six years teaching / research / industrial experience of which at least three years should be at the level of Assistant Professors, Senior Scientific Officer/Senior Design Engineer
Assistant Professor
Pay Scale : PB-3 (Rs.15,600-39,100) with AGP of Rs. 8,000/- p.m.
Qualification : Ph.D with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout and at least three years' teaching / research / industrial experience, excluding however, the experience gained while pursuing Ph.D.
Assistant Professor (Contract)
Pay Scale : PB-3 (Rs.15,600-39,100) with AGP of Rs. 6,000/- p.m.
Age : below 35 years
Qualification : fresh Ph.D with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout. The contract will be initially for three years. After three years, it will be regularized as Assistant Professor depending upon the performance

Engineering: Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Material Science & Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering;
Sciences and Humanities: Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and Liberal Arts (Economics, Psychology, Social Anthropology, Linguistics, English Literature, History)
