Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up of the following posts in Arid Forest Research Institute, Jodhpur. The details for the posts are given below:-

Post:

1. Research Assistant Grade-I
   No of Posts : 01 (OBC)
   Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20,200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 2800/-
   Qualification : Master degree in Botany/Forestry from a recognized University OR its equivalent. Preferred Specialization in Taxonomy, Plant Pathology & Plant Ecology
   
   
2. Hindi Translator
   No of Posts : 01 (UR)
   Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs. 4200
   Qualification : Master's degree of a recognized University in Hindi/English with English/Hindi as compulsory / elective subject OR as medium of examination at degree level, OR Master's degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi/English, with Hindi and English as a compulsory/elective subjects OR either of the two as medium of examination and the other as compulsory/elective subject at degree level, OR Master's degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi/English, with Hindi/English medium and Hindi/English as a compulsory/elective subject as a medium of examination at degree level, OR Bachelor's degree of a recognized University with Hindi and English as a compulsory/elective subject OR either of the two as medium of examination and the other as a compulsory/elective subject, plus a recognized Diploma/Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and Vice-versa OR two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice-versa in Central/State Government Offices, including Govt. of India Undertaking.
   
   
3. Technical Assistant Gr. 'C'
   No of Posts : 02 (UR-01 , SC-01)
   Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20,200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 2000/-
   Qualification :10+2 Examination passed in Science from a recognized Board OR its equivalent.
   Age Limit : Between 18 to 25 years (Age relaxation for SC/ST upto 5 years and OBC upto 3years) as on 01-07-2009.Last Date for receipt of application : within 30 days from the date of the advertisement (Date of Publication : 29.08.2009)
